We couldn't believe how outrageously yummy these halibut skewers are. Crusty Italian bread and halibut are seasoned with fresh rosemary, then woven with pancetta and grilled until golden.
It turns out organic beeswax is 100 percent safe to eat. Wax is a particularly dense lipid, akin to animal fat, butter fat and cholesterol. Like those other fats, it is loaded with calories: 12.7 kcal per gram (as compared to beef tallow at 9 kcal per gram). But unlike tallow and all those other fattening fats, beeswax provides us with nada nutrition, including calories.

Good old salmon in a white wine sauce gets a major makeover when shaved garlic and torn fresh basil go into the pan. Skip making a side dish by bedding down the salmon on a pile of greens and sugar snaps. The garlic basil pan sauce doubles as a salad dressing. Use this trick with anything from meat to vegetables to tempeh.
