Q: I am trying to find an implement used in Parisian creperies for spreading crepe batter to the edges of the pan. It looks something like an upside-down "T." Do you have any suggestions?
Lynne: An offset spatula is probably what you're looking for. You should be able to find one at Williams-Sonoma (800-541-2233), Sur La Table (800-243-0852) or any well-stocked cookware specialty store.
